Job Description

The Financial Analyst will be a team member of the Supply Chain FP&A team. This role is instrumental in partnering with both Supply Chain and FP&A leaders to establish and drive high-performance capabilities, by developing, interpreting and quantifying financial and operational metrics and analyses related to operations activities. 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Support month-end close process by meeting all deadlines with accurate submissions
  • Assist in coordination of planning and forecasting efforts and ensure due dates are achieved
  • Research, track and summarize key data including, trends, profitability and expense analyses
  • Evaluate projects designed to improve operations, control costs, and improve performance
  • Report and interpret key performance indicators (KPI’s) driving visibility for improved results
  • Evaluate business cases/proposals to drive operations to make informed business decisions
  • Responsible for financial review of all supply chain product destruction workflows
  • Responsible for all weekly/monthly aged WIP reporting and cycle count reporting
  • Analyze plan/forecast/prior year results and variances to provide actionable insights
  • Perform ad hoc analytics and provide insights on variances and trends

Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting 
  • Master’s Degree a plus
  • AS400, Oracle, GL Wand, Hyperion, and Power BI knowledge a plus
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles
  • Ability to interpret data, identify and communicate potential opportunities and risks
  • Flexible and able to prioritize multiple projects in order to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and capability to contribute to a fast-paced team environment
  • Able to sift through and analyze data and present in concise and structured manner
  • Able to draw conclusions, develop recommendations and identify risks/opportunities from data
  • Experience working within a dotted line reporting environment
  • Effective communication, written and verbal, and ability to influence others to get results or develop solutions
  • Continuous improvement orientation
  • Ability to communicate across multiple levels of the organization
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Must be proficient with Windows, Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Power Point, etc.
