Job Description

The Manager of Digital Activation will join our in-house digital activation team and will oversee digital media across our portfolio of brands, responsible for strategic planning and tactical execution on digital channels including display, online video, search and other retailer conversion media opportunities working collaboratively with external partners, internal customer development, sales and operations, brand, digital strategy, media planning, and content operations teams.

This role is instrumental in driving one of the largest channels across all retailers, and setting the roadmap for scalable growth strategies.  We are seeking someone with strong management, strategy, and analytical experience, with a strong desire to grow and lead.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Oversee strategy, planning, and execution of digital paid media for  brands across digital channels in partnership with media agency and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Amazon leads to plan and execute digital campaigns and promotional strategies to drive conversion.
  • Manage media among emerging eCommerce retailers and channels to create new conversion opportunities.
  • Oversee partnerships with specialized media vendors and pilot media activations.
  • Lead the launch of new innovation items across digital channels.
  • Partner cross functionally to track, analyze, and report digital media performance.
  • Identify and leverage digital media trends, recommend innovative channels and strategies.
  • Partner with internal brand teams to develop and align media plans with annual brand strategies.
  • Oversee quarterly digital media budget and allocate spend across channels.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with eCommerce retail channels, notably Amazon.com (1P)
  • Experience working with large product catalogs (1000+) preferred
  • Partner / Agency Management experience preferred
  • BA or BS degree required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of keyword dynamics and optimization
  • Great communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills are essential, with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must work well across large cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and work streams across brands; simultaneously contributing to multiple projects each with aggressive development schedules
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others with respect for their unique contributions
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to think critically and execute tasks accurately
  • Exceptional follow-through and initiative
