Job Description

Grow with us!  The Senior Director, Supply Chain Business Unit Leader, is responsible for providing a single point of contact to the Domestic and International Natural & Organics Sales, Marketing and R&D teams regarding the management of the supply chain network.  The Senior Director will interact with various functional areas within Supply Chain and act as the primary liaison to all  internal and external customers in regards to service levels, innovation and cost.  Note:  role can be based in Holbrook, NY, or Florham Park, NJ.

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Provide assistance and timely communication to all stakeholders related to supply chain performance metrics, such as On Time In Full (OTIF), in conjunction with existing Demand and Supply Planning teams
  • Key participant in forecast and inventory planning meetings with marketing, sales and supply chain managers, reviewing recommended sales forecasts ad inventory goals
  • Create and deliver monthly S&OP presentations for the business unit which reviews Planning Performance (Growth, Forecast, Service Levels, Supply Plans, and Inventory) and outlines Risks, Impact and Contingency Plans  
  • Interface and assist R&D and Innovation teams with shepherding new products from concept to commercialization

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain planning, scheduling and inventory management in consumer products industry
  • 5+ years leading an S&OP / Demand Planning or Supply Planning operational activities to yield service level, inventory management and efficiency improvements
  • Experience in the Natural & Organics / Health Food store channel (supermarkets and independently owned) representing a luxury brand is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain preferred; will consider comparable work experience in lieu of degree  
  • APICS Certification and MBA desired 
  • Solid communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of organization including senior leadership
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to promote a work environment that fosters creative thinking and innovation
