Job Description

The Analyst, Customer Supply Chain will play an integral role in the monitoring, reporting and scorecarding of Key Accounts. The Analyst, Customer Supply Chain is challenged to continuously improve the forecasting process, replenishment and results to enable the company to achieve its customer service commitments and improve its efficiency. The ability to collaborate with the customer and interpret information from many sources (POS, order history, customer forecasts, etc.) is essential.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure we provide world-class service to our customers through the development and maintenance of order fulfillment.  Responsible for end to end Order Management process timeliness and accuracy.    
  • Interface with customers, buyers and replenishment managers as well as The NB Co. Sales, Inventory & Distribution Teams to enforce policies, resolve issues, and align service and financial strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with customers to optimize finished goods inventories against their service goals.  Analyze and identify opportunities to improve or increase retail sales and drive volume.
  • Manage product transitions, while working closely with Customers to ensure flawless execution to minimize slow moving product by efficient phasing in/out of SKU's.
  • Monitor and review customer’s inventory health and turn levels as specified by customer.  Work with internal counterparts to ensure changing needs are planned accordingly. Ensure communication of replenishment, inventories and order issues are addressed timely.
  • Responsible to manage Customers expectations for inventory and service KPI's, case fill, and delivery of new, promotional and replenished products. 
  • Report on Customer metrics through monthly scorecards.  Work to reduce fines and eliminate repeated issues for the customer.  Achieve customer expectations via their internal metrics (Weeks of Supply, Out Of Stocks, Fill and Service expectations).   
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years experience working with mass market retail inventory management/forecasting required
  • Proficient with Oracle and CRM systems a plus; Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint), AS400 software experience preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Strong math and statistical skills required
  • High level of organizational skills, ability to multi-task, work independently, meet deadlines and professional demeanor required
  • 30% travel required
