Job Description

The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team is seeking an Analyst that will evaluate, develop, analyze, communicate and execute analytics that will aid the IBP team in key decision making and execution of projects.  The Analyst will need to take initiative in identifying reports that require automation to aid in the Department’s process improvement goals.  Teamwork and collaboration are key to making this position and Department a success.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Generate key Demand Planning & Supply reporting while working with significant amount of MS Excel output data
  • Validate data extracts from Oracle's Demantra and Advanced Planning Command Center (APCC) prior to generating and publishing reports
  • Generate monthly forecast accuracy and ad-hoc queries into a comprehensive report to support meaningful dialogue and decision making for Demand Planning team 
  • Define and maintain New Item Tracker for Supply Planning 
  • Assist in the monthly Demand Review process for Sales and Direct To Consumer businesses
  • Perform various monthly functionalities in Demantra surrounding key calendar dates
  • Troubleshoot data received from coordinating systems (Demantra, AS400, ASCP,PLM) and partner with IT to solution
  • Lead the data management of current Excel reports for Finished Goods, Bulk & Critical Components
  • Communicating with the leads on the outcome of analysis across multiple teams, including IBP, Demand Planning, Brand, and Supply
  • Take initiative to automate various reporting and analytics to accelerate the process improvement curve and share compelling, insightful recommendations to meet business needs
  • Assist in developing and executing new Inventory Optimization (IO) workflow
  • Document policies and procedures based upon the business requirements and the final application solution

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Business or Operations major preferred
  • 2+ years of data management and analysis experience 
  • 3+ years of working within a Supply Chain function (the transformation of raw materials into a finished product that is delivered to the end customer)
  • Relevant industry experience with consumer packaged goods (CPG) and consumer products is a strong plus
  • Experience in supply/demand planning function is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with external planning tools (i.e. JDA, ORACLE, SAP) and/or Business Intelligence is beneficial
  • Advanced MS Excel skills with proficiency in advanced functionality and modeling; Excel expertise, i.e. writing macros
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work in fast-moving, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment while adhering to key dates and calendar 
  • Strong organizational skills ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to develop and use metrics/graphs to lead root-cause analysis activities
  • Strong written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Ability to effectively lead, take direction, and work within a team representing diverse business functions
  • Ability to work with MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Project, Word, Visio
