As Solgar's next Brand Marketing Manager, you will assume a leadership role in driving the day-to-day management, growth and profitability of the domestic business while partnering with management to ensure the long-term strategic development of the assigned franchise.  This role reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing and General Manager of Solgar® US.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Understanding consumer needs and desires and leveraging them to create the actionable brand plans
  • Working on the development of new innovation platforms including new products, spearheading with Sales and Trade Marketing to create winning customer/account strategies
  • Work with various cross-functional teams to effectively manage the P&L and deliver outstanding results
  • Spearhead initiatives, such as the appearance, placement, positioning, pricing, advertising strategy
  • Leads execution of marketing plans to deliver financial results 
  • Proactively manages P&L to ensure business goals are met 
  • Develops and manages brand equity (vision and positioning) 
  • Plan and execute ongoing market research and analysis 
  • Works with Innovation and Advertising team to develop new items, packaging and launch campaigns 
  • Works with Advertising team to execute creative brand plans 
  • Works with sales team to optimize retailer promotional strategies and identify new opportunities 
  • Works with sales managers to develop account-specific strategies 
  • Works with consumer insights to seek out new growth opportunities
  • Works with inventory/supply management team to plan accordingly for new item launches, deletions, consumer trends, etc.
  • Analyzes business performance to develop volume forecasts and to anticipate future business needs

  • Bachelors Degree (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience (Natural Products Industry experience preferred)
  • Working knowledge of digital and modern technology that includes social media
  • Experience in digital marketing
  • Experience in managing creative teams
  • Experience in planning, execution, and analysis of marketing programs
  • Significant experience in production, vendor management, media analysis
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Excellent ability to provide creative direction and feedback
  • Strong leadership capabilities; ability to manage, motivate, and collaborate
  • Strong management and organizational skills
  • Computer Proficiency Skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
