Job Description

The Nature’s Bounty Co.’s Brand Team is searching for a self-motivated, experienced Senior Brand Marketer with expertise in developing and marketing CPG brands. The right candidate will be passionate about health & wellness and will want to leverage that passion every day, focusing on the Osteo Bi-Flex® brand, which has been in the in the joint care supplements category for more than 20 years!  This is a true brand management role within a growth oriented, private equity backed, and category leading company in the upward trending health & wellness space.  

The poised and dynamic manager will lead and deliver the brand commercial strategy by partnering with cross-functional teams to define and execute all critical elements, including driving the forecasting, innovation execution, and the demand generation plan.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Drive strategic brand planning and program development; managing the execution of the marketing plan to ensure the efficient and effective use of the marketing budget
  • Lead the volume planning & business forecasting 
  • Partner with the Consumer Insights team to identify category trends and consumer unmet needs, and build and action learning plans from idea to opportunity sizing through consumer validation
  • Lead new products through the stage-gate process, from concept through commercialization including product design and packaging
  • Partner with Sales Strategy to develop and execute growth plan for the brand in market
  • Leading launch plans with specific marketing plan activities including media planning and creative execution, consumer promotion, shopper marketing, sampling, and displays.
  • Partnering with senior leaders for commercial plan development including brand strategy, pricing strategy, packaging, communication, pricing, claims, etc.
  • Lead the development of brand plans for the following financial year

Job Requirements

  • 7 + years of strategic brand management experience in building brands and driving the business, including financial management and P&L management
  • Passion for the health and wellness space
  • Proven success in consumer packaged goods (CPG) innovation, classically trained marketer on aspects like forecasting, analytics, etc.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership through product development and commercialization
  • Proven ability to analyze the business and develop strategies and marketing programs that have driven business results
  • Strong leadership, analytic, planning, communication, and presentation skills
  • Brand planning & volume forecasting experience
  • Problem solver mindset, from key issue analysis, to strategic imperatives, to tactical planning
  • Consumer understanding (positioning, insights)
  • Strong presentation skills; comfortable presenting ideas & recommendations to senior leadership
  • Analytic and strategic thinking, with financial acumen (financial planning, P&L management) and Project Management skills
  • Ability to manage agency relationships, write a brief, provide creative direction and feedback
  • Team leadership; building cross-functional alignment
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in face paced environment
  • Bachelor's Degree is required, MBA is a plus
