Job Description

The Chief of Staff will report directly to the President, CPG North America, and will help develop and drive the financial and strategic priorities of the business, partnering closely with the entire executive leadership team, and will represent the President, while owning and driving forward critical initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring high levels of performance across the executive team by developing and implementing appropriate controls, processes, and reporting mechanisms
  • Developing fluency across numerous parts of the business over time including P&L management, supply chain operations, marketing and promotion, and organizational design, while working to ensure collaboration and flawless execution in all areas of responsibility
  • Assisting the President to identify strategic priorities for the business and implement processes to ignite growth, fuel innovation, and drive efficiencies within the organization
  • Serving as a liaison and conduit between the President and the CPG NA organization
  • Owning the project management of key initiatives by providing strategic direction, ensuring that deliverables are met, and managing project timelines
  • Providing regular progress updates to President CPG, NA and provide regular feedback to team members and key stakeholders
  • Generating data analytics that can be used in strategic decision making and the implementation of action plans
  • Compiling compelling presentations and coordinate the collection of information for board/executive meetings, internal town halls and other internal and external events critical to informing and inspiring key business stakeholders
  • Developing strong partnerships with cross functional teams and ensure alignment with goals, directions and deliverables

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in a consultative/leadership capacity working for a strategy consulting firms, i.e. McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company
  • 5+ years of project management and data analytics experience
  • Experience working with, and providing leadership support for, Executives
  • Experience within the CPG, Consumer Health, and/or Pharmaceutical industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline, i.e. Business
  • MBA/Master’s degree preferred
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification a strong plus
  • Articulate leader with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong strategic planning and financial and business acumen
  • Promotes cross functional collaboration and holds teams accountable for results
  • Strong systems and data analytics skills
  • Superior written and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail skills
  • Flexible to travel to the Ronkonkoma, NY, (Long Island) office as needed
