Job Description

The Nature's Bounty Co. has an exciting opportunity for a Compensation Director to drive compensation strategy and execution. Responsibilities include the oversight of base pay, short and long term incentive plans and executive compensation to ensure alignment with best industry practices on global basis.  This is a highly visible role; engaging in strategic discussions with senior leadership and ability to influence decisions at all management levels.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Setting strategy and development of competitive base and variable pay programs, salary structures, market pricing studies, job architecture and special reporting
  • Prepare all Board of Director Compensation Committee materials, manage compliance requirements and participate in the Compensation Committee meetings
  • Oversee the design and administration of the equity program and other executive compensation programs
  • Recommends and implements any necessary improvement to compensation systems and tools in order to simplify and/or enhance process administration and develop new solutions
  • Lead global annual compensation processes, including merit and incentive planning
  • Lead a successful team of compensation professionals with emphasis on coaching, mentoring and individual talent development
  • Lead all compensation related communication and education efforts

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of directly related compensation experience
  • Experience in managing multiple direct reports, inclusive of coaching, performance management, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of compensation best practices, including incentives, commissions, and equity
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Exceptional communication skills 
  • Ability to partner, influence, and interact within all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of delivering results
  • Advanced Excel, i.e. pivot tables, VLOOKUP, PowerPoint and other MS Office products
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources or other related field; Master's Degree preferred
  • CCP, CEP or other compensation certifications preferred
