This is an exciting opportunity for the new Nutrition Communications Director to help transform the existing Nutrition Communications teams into a more forward looking function that is adequately staffed, positioned, and structured in line with the Company’s science-based leadership strategy.  This role supports the US Operations as well as The Nature’s Bounty Co. Ltd. the International division which has its headquarters in London, UK with Company Owned Distributors in the UK, Spain, South Africa and New Zealand.

The Director will be responsible for overseeing global nutrition and science communications in both North America and International markets. This includes messaging through various channels such as E-commerce, digital, etc. high-lighting key product benefits, claims and science behind formulations. This person shall also be responsible for internal and external nutrition training program development and rollout as well as science and nutrition reputation and advocacy. There are nutrition communications team members based in the UK, Spain, South Africa and New Zealand. 

Leading the Nutrition Science Communications team, the Director will be responsible for the development, alignment of and rollout of brand product benefit/claim communications including nutrition training programs supporting the sales and marketing priorities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create and coordinate Nutrition Science Communication strategies that benefit both North America and our International teams aligned to sales and marketing priorities.
  • Create nutrition training resources to be used by the field-based training team facilitating consistent delivery of high-quality training sessions based on a strong science foundation.
  • Manage the activities of managers responsible for external representation, product benefit and claim development, nutrition training programme development and advocacy
  • Develop clear roles and responsibilities for Nutrition Communications.
  • Manage process for review and approval of all resources, ensuring scientifically valid and regulatory compliant
  • Prepare and maintain annual budgets and long range planning
  • Responsible for ensuring nutrition training programs and content are meeting the sales training team needs in all COD markets. This includes metric development, Service Level Agreements and reporting obligations to ensure materials are delivering needs of sales and marketing organization.
  • Provision of Sales team training and resources as required to support new product launches and promotional activities.
  • Delivery of training workshops to sales and marketing teams as well as external key opinion leaders as required.
  • Represent the Nature’s Bounty Co and act as a brand and category advocate at events and shows as required (occasional weekends/evenings).
