The Financial Analyst is a member of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) functional team, while supporting the commercial organization directly on a daily basis. This person will be instrumental in helping the Marketing and FP&A leaders to establish high-performance capabilities. The Financial Analyst will develop, quantify, and interpret financial and operational metrics and analyses related to all aspects of the CPG organization (gross sales, gross to net, net sales, cost of goods and advertising). Interaction with business partners across the commercial organization, Corporate Accounting, Corporate FP&A as well as the other parts of the company as required.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Measure key performance indicators (KPI’s) and provide insights.
• Complete ad hoc Return on Investment (ROI’s) analysis with in-depth interpretation of business.
• Develop and analyze budget/forecast/prior year comparison reporting.
• Conduct variance analyses and provide detailed explanations and recommendations.
• Research, track and summarize key data, including, trends, profitability and expense analyses.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting efforts.
• Monitor brand marketing spend on a monthly basis and assess R/O to brand teams.
• Support the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
• Ability to sift through and analyze data and present insights in concise and structured manner.
• Able to draw conclusions, develop recommendations and identify risks/opportunities from data
• Ability to develop sustainable process improvements that can be incorporated into ongoing standard work within the organization
