Job Description

At The Nature's Bounty Co., Master Data Management (MDM) is a centralized team that governs master data for the entire organization. The team is responsible for creation of master data in systems, analyzing data defects, identifying root causes, and driving continuous improvement in processes, data standards and systems & tools to improve data quality. This position will be a key solution leader to enable an enterprise master data management strategies by enhancing technology solutions, such as PDH (Product Data Hub) and SDH (Supplier Data Hub) within Oracle EBS (Enterprise Business Suite). The Nature’s Bounty Co. is on a journey to drive heart of the operations for the entire company through Oracle EBS.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Define, implement and oversee technical implementations guided in master data management strategies
  • Collaborate with solution managers and technical resources across IT, contributing to forward movement of data strategies and integrations
  • Identify and define the right strategies to integrate master data with other operational systems to leverage the master data more efficiently and effectively
  • Participate in the design and development of the solutions utilizing your technical expertise
  • Lead technical solution design and development to create a single source of truth through Master Data Management solutions to support the Enterprise wide master data needs
  • Assist in projects with scope definition, resource requirements, budget and technology selection process 
  • Develop solutions and oversee other technical resources (internal and external) to support the enhancement projects to build new capabilities and system features
  • Partner with the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team and other Solution Managers to develop more cohesive integration strategies between master data and other operating systems to prevent any non-value added re-work and ensure solution sustainability 
  • Proactively foresee, plan and lead MDM enhancements, implementations, operations & support. Lead and own automated MDM operations from inbound to outbound data push
  • Work with infrastructure team related to Oracle SR execution, system performance issues, and change migration requests etc.
  • Coordinate and review technical design/code
  • Define, document, configure and optimize various MDM processes and stages including data inbound, outbound processes


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT including developing and implementing Product Master Data Management solutions and integration strategies 
  • 3+ years of experience in Oracle PIM (Product Information Management) / PDH (Product Data Hub) functionalities required
  • Experience with data quality, data governance and Metadata management data preferred 
  • Experience with web service development, DBMS (Database Management System) development and cloud integration preferred
  • Experience in understanding of MDM in context of Oracle ERP preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing/ CPG (Consumer Package Goods) / Pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • Experience with Oracle Supplier Master Data (Oracle Supplier Data Hub) preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field of study required
  • Master's degree or higher graduate degree is preferred 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Active listening skills to understand need of the business customers to drive right solutions 
  • Strong problem solving skills
