As a critical member of the Information Technology team, the Manager serves as a strategic partner between IT and Sales & Marketing to drive business value results for The Nature’s Bounty Co., ensuring that systems and strategies use industry standard methodologies at scale to support unique go-to-market business models. Works closely with the platform management team to understand new technology trends, as well as project managers to provide business improvements to stakeholders.  Collaborates across work streams to facilitate IT alignment and communications.  Assess current business capabilities while challenging and influencing future capabilities.  Drive technology oriented business changes to produce tangible benefits, ensure value optimization and support solution delivery.

Strategic Planning

  • Collaborates with business to identify business opportunities and drive continuous improvement in people, process & technology.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with assigned business stakeholders and across IT. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of each business unit’s strategic objectives and operating models.
  • Participate in short and long term planning sessions to improve business processes and technology

Relationship Management

  • With the business, support and participate in formal status reporting.
  • Manage stakeholder satisfaction with IT Services. 
  • With Technology Teams (Platform managers, project managers, infrastructure, and other BRMs), work collaboratively to share knowledge and ultimately develop more fit-for-purpose, robust and scalable solutions.

Demand Management

  • Work with business stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities and coordinate with Platform managers for solution options. 
  • Support the maintenance of the demand portfolio for targeted business functions.
  • Manage the enhancement list for business area.

Business Case Development

  • Manage business due diligence to assess potential projects with solid business case documents.
  • Key stakeholder to secure business sponsorship & funding required.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and contribute to the business case process by analyzing business value, benefits, risks and estimated costs.


  • Obtain alignment on priorities working with targeted business areas. 

Business Analysis

  • Owns all business solutions that enable business processes in scope of the role.
  • Analyzes business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions. 
  • Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.  
  • Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge.

Vendor Management

  • Investigative – Exploration – partnering with Platform Managers.
  • Management of technology vendor relationships, including contract execution and scope definition.   
  • Accountable for project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation and assignments.
  • Manage Deliverables.

Requirements Definition & Documentation

  • Consult with business users to gather and document information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements.

Program/Project Management

  • Accountable as the IT lead of assigned projects for the targeted business functions. 
  • Engage right IT resources to deliver business initiatives and their success criteria (KPI's). 
  • Collaborate with PMO to drive successful projects, and ensure outcome delivers agreed benefits.

Subject Matter Expertise (SME)

  • Leverage experience and best practices for targeted business areas and information systems to provide specialized knowledge across the network and add value to the overall business objectives


  • Identify and manage key stakeholders on business to improve change adoption and advocate business values.
  • Accountable as the IT lead to champion change management activities for assigned business functions with frequent communications. Ensures IT is aware of key business changes and issues. 


  • Supports accuracy and completeness of all required Sarbanes-Oxley (SoX) documentation

Team building & Collaboration

  • Constantly evaluate the staffing model for the team, both internal and external.  
  • Identify short and long term training and development needs for all team members. 
  • Participate in the recruitment process and develop Associates for career progression
  • Partner with Platform Managers to implement appropriate system and design.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a Business Relationship role
  • Track record in managing several projects in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years of Vendor Management experience
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience
  • Experience in building self-service and high touch sales and marketing systems and services , marketing systems, and CRM platforms
  • Demonstrated direct knowledge and understanding of lead to quote, Renewals, Direct and Indirect Sales models, Omni channel marketing, self-service and high touch processes and systems
  • Solid business acumen and operational knowledge
  • Strong business communication / presentation skills at all levels
  • Ability to assess business problems/opportunities via root cause analysis (people, process, technology)
  • Ability to drive change management
  • Solid experience preparing Business Requirements documents
  • Solid experience with Business Process Mapping and User Documentation
  • Experience testing and implementing new applications
  • Solid knowledge of available platforms including Oracle or packaged ERP system
  • Knowledge of other Oracle EBS modules such as Inventory, EBS Quality, MFG/WMS, Install Base would be a plus
  • Experience in the Nutritional Supplement, Pharmaceutical, or other CPG (consumer packaged goods) company is preferred
  • SOX compliance experience a must

Education, Certification, Licenses & Registrations:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related field, or related experience
  • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification a plus
  • APICS certification a plus
