Job Description

The Nature's Bounty Co.'s Human Resources Team continues to evolve into a strategically aligned HR Team.  As a strategic business partner to Supply Chain Leadership, the Manager of Human Resources is responsible for associate relations, change management support, and ensuring adherence to company's policies and procedures. The Manager of Human Resources will partner and align with our Centers of Excellence functions including OD & Training, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation and Payroll.  Ideal candidate experience includes working within an HR strategic business partner model in addition to supporting to manufacturing and/or closely related organizations.  This is a fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in our transformation to a best in class production model.    

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive change leadership and organizational development action plans to support creation, implementation, improvement and sustainment of The Nature’s Bounty Co.’s HPS (High Performance System) initiatives.
  • Serve as a key strategic partner to the Manufacturing Leadership team including: Plant Management, HPS, Global Quality, EHS, & Operations Planning teams.
  • Drive compliance and understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Advise management in areas of employment law, policies and regulations.
  • Partner with HR Leadership team in executing the road map for HPS continued improvement and guide site leadership teams in effectively managing change.
  • Navigate ambiguous/complex/sensitive issues and promote conflict resolution.
  • Conduct investigations and appropriately document employee relations issues regarding employment practices.
  • Represent the Company in worker’s compensations and unemployment insurance claims.
  • Drive performance management process by fully communicating information and providing training and coordination.
  • Direct and maintain various activities designed to promote and maintain a high level of employee morale.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance of state and federal regulations related to employment such as FLSA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA.
  • Gain trust by maintaining confidential information and level of professionalism while minimizing company risk.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Human Resources or a closely related field required. Masters a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of government regulations related to employment such as FLSA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, etc. 
  • Minimum of 5+ years Human Resources Business Partner experience.  Experience working within a COE HR Model highly preferred.
  • Preferred experience in Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain Consumer Goods Organization.
  • Exposure to Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing based organizations highly preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle-based HRIS platforms, EmpCenter, Sedgwick Silk Road, and Convercent. 
  • As a condition of employment, the person must be prepared to support irregular schedules, as the Operations involved are inherently of a 24/5 nature.
