Job Description

Solgar® is seeking a dynamic, organized and experienced trainer to join our organization. The trainer will be responsible for both internal training for our national sales team and external retailer-based brand and product trainings designed to grow the brands in the Natural Products Industry.  

Solgar® has been manufacturing fine quality nutritional supplements for over 60 years in an industry that is constantly evolving. Throughout these changes, we have never lost sight of our original mission - to provide consumers with the highest quality nutritional products and information to help promote optimal health. Our attention to detail from manufacturing through distribution has enabled us to set, maintain and continually raise the Gold Standard™ for quality nutritional supplements, education, and service. 

*** This is a remote position.  Candidate must have with flexibility to travel to other states***

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and conduct brand education and product training events with assigned account group.
  • Train key account personnel on the entire range of Natural Product Group Products along with leading the customer account promotional planning activity and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.
  • Develop schedule to assess training needs
  • Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership
  • Track and compile collected data
  • Conceptualize training materials based on data and research
  • Communicate training needs and online resources
  • Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials
  • Test and review created materials
  • Maintain database of all training materials
  • Instruct employee training and onboarding
  • Conduct training through new materials
     

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of strategic sales and training experience in a business-to business sales environment required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience within the Natural Products Industry preferred
  • Up-to-date on the tools and resources needed to improve and enhance internal and external training curriculum
  • Articulate leader with great interpersonal and presentation/public speaking skills
  • Strong project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Organized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • 75% travel required
