Job Description

The Nature's Bounty Co.'s Real Estate Team is currently recruiting for a Paralegal. This position will support the VP, R/E Deputy General Counsel in all stages of Real Estate transactions. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong organizational skills in addition to having expertise in the Commercial Leasing and Construction process including various document review and drafting various correspondence for real estate matters. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage legal files and use of matter management tools regarding contract maintenance;
  • Create initial drafts of form agreements and other documents for review.
  • Maintain a library of pre-approved form documents, contract clauses, templates, and historical documents, and add or revise material as needed.
  • Assist the Real Estate Department and Attorney in the review and execution of Construction Contracts, Lease Amendments, Estoppel Certificates, and Purchase Agreements for various buildings throughout the United States and Canada. 
  • Drafting of Real Estate related contracts, AIA Construction Contracts, service agreements, national maintenance agreements and other various agreements for the Construction and Engineering Departments a plus.
  • Provide administrative support to VP and Deputy General Counsel as well as the Senior Director of Construction, which includes filing, reception, typing, travel arrangements, expense reports and events planning, scheduling of weekly department meetings etc.
  • Commercial Lease Management – coordinate with building managers, Landlords, accounts payable/receivable.
  • Assist the RE Department and Attorney in the preparation, review and execution of documents for purchase or sale of properties. Must be familiar with title reports and closing documents.


  • Five – seven years of Commercial Leasing and Construction Contract experience
  • Experience with Real Estate contracts and Construction form agreements
  • Associate’s degree and Paralegal Cert Training or equivalent;
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and work well with others; 
  • Strong organizational skills and computer skills 
  • Must be able to aptly assess potential legal risks or exposure
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience drafting legal documents
  • Must exercise sound judgment and appropriately consult with or seek attorney review when necessary
