Our Regulatory Affairs team is currently recruiting for a Regulatory Specialist to serve as the functional expert in developing and maintaining accurate and compliant labeling for dietary supplements, foods, over the counter and cosmetic products. Applying and interpreting applicable regulations with independent judgment, he/she ensures label manuscripts are prepared in compliance with applicable regulations.  This Regulatory Affairs position supports all The Nature’s Bounty Co. branded labeling initiatives globally. With a particular focus on executing against company objectives and department deliverables. The Regulatory Specialist will work independently, with a high level of accountability and productivity while maintaining regulatory compliance and overall accuracy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review, maintain and creates manuscript records for TNBCo’s product portfolio of Dietary Supplements, Foods, OTCs and Cosmetics by interpreting and applying appropriate regional and industry regulations to all the regulatory aspects of labeling.
  • Has an understanding US Federal Regulations and its application for Foods and Dietary Supplements.
  • Performs various calculations to substantiate compliant labeling: formula, percent daily values, vitamin & mineral conversions, nutritional claim support
  • Compiles and interprets substantiation documentation for accurate and compliant labeling.
  • Performs regulatory review of manuscripts and artworks for compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Completes checklists and other procedural documentation.
  •  Coordinates individual deliverables with departmental and business objectives. Prepares reports and other data to track progress toward objectives and goals.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years Regulatory Affairs experience within the Food or Dietary Supplement  Industry
  • Bachelor’s degree required   
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrates leadership  
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Oracle a plus
