The Senior Director of eCommerce & Digital is responsible for developing the digital marketing strategy for CPG North America with a primary focus on accelerating digital engagement, which includes eCommerce channels such as Amazon, Walmart.com, etc. brick and click retailers and emerging channels.

This role will drive the adoption and rollout of newly implemented PIM (Salsify) across the organization to capture and catalog all brand related content (product copy, photography, video, etc).   The VP, eCommerce & Digital is also responsible for initiating and managing service and technology partnerships designed to drive digital business intelligence, as well as workflow efficiencies, to the organization.

This individual will work with a variety of cross-functional teams, including Branding & Content Production, Brand Management, Sales, Insights & Analytics and Customer & Channel Development, as well as external partners, for seamless execution.

Strategic Oversight:

  • Lead strategy and execution across all eCommerce channels and coordinate with existing Digital. Marketing teams to drive traffic and conversion across respective eCommerce platforms.
  • Lead expert on Digital trends, technology and potential partners.  Advocate across the organization the power of digital on how to grow our brand presence and drive business across all current and emerging digital channels. 

Content Management:

  • Work with cross functional teams to develop content across all digital channels which includes video, copy and imagery to showcase our products and benefits to consumers.
  • Develop best practices around digital content including SEO, best-in-class product photography and copy, and execute “repurposing” of content across digital platforms.

Partner Relations:

  • Manage & Foster day to day relationship to develop, execute and track digital engagement (ex. Campaigns, Promotions, etc.).
  • For eCommerce: Manage all Amazon Marketing Campaigns (Search & Display), and coordinate brand strategies with our 3rd party agency.
  • Coordinate brand strategies across digital channels and allocate necessary marketing budget to align strategies with digital execution.
  • Constantly optimizing, tracking and improving search ranking, content integrity and product review scores across all Nature Bounty Co brands.
  • Managing vendor relationship to make additional data available to the organization including Pricing, Availability & Assortment metrics.

Reporting

  • Reporting out Sales and Operational performance along with overall progress/status reports.
  • Monthly campaign performance tracking.
  • Tracking overall progress across key digital shelf KPIs.
  • Analyzing coupon redemptions and spend.
  • All trade and brand investments across vehicles.

Technology

  • Implementing tools that improve productivity, drive strategy and help drive digital engagement.
  • eCommerce: Profitero, 1010 data, Webcollage, CMS: SiteCore; CRM: Salesforce.

Job Requirements

  • 15+ years of E-Commerce and Digital Marketing experience, with a focus on ecommerce (Direct to Consumer knowledge) and overall consumer engagement across digital platforms 
  • Multi-channel business experience across the omni-channel, with a focus on digital and retail 
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) is critical
  • Team development, Organizational leadership and cross functional collaboration
  • Understanding of consumer/digital behavior across omnichannel retail channels
  • Highly resourceful – challenges and grows team members and broader organization
  • Proven ability to work with and lead peers across many functions within the company
  • BA or BS degree is required, MBA is preferred
  • Proven analytical, data-based decision maker based on ecommerce and consumer engagement metrics
  • Project management experience with high attention to detail is required
