Job Description

The Senior Director will lead the company's High Performance System (HPS) development and deployment across the Supply Chain. Responsible for the organizational architecture, Pillar, System and Tool development and deployment plan to deliver sustained associate capability and sustainable breakthrough results in Supply Chain safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Architects, implements and manages supply chain-wide center of excellence for HPS, including methodology, roadmap, capability development, training, deployment and sustainability 
  • Develops and communicates business cases, reports results, and instills accountability for support and execution of HPS efforts in all business areas.
  • Partners heavily with business leaders to create and imbed a culture of continuous improvement as a standard operating practice
  • Ensures all areas receive appropriate support to further continuous improvement efforts
  • Develops and manages HPS team resources, including direct management of pillar resources, and ensures appropriate selection and development of HPS resources are embedded within organizational units
  • Coordinate with strategic customers, pillar resources and site leaders to deliver an integrated HPS strategy for the Supply Chain
  • Define and deliver capability building plans for skill development of sites and functional teams in the elimination of all forms of losses
  • Promote and support cross-fertilization of ideas, knowledge, standards and best practices by conducting benchmarking across the network
  • Motivate and empower people through positive attitude and stimulate change in traditional mind set towards “Zero Mindset”


  • 10+ years of proven proficiency and understanding of implementing High Performing Organizations, Lean, Lean Six Sigma, TPM or related continuous improvement areas and associated principles and methodologies throughout multiple business areas from inception to sustainment
  • Demonstrated successful track record leading large-scale cross-business and change management initiatives resulting in customer-centric operational excellence and significant value-add for the organization
  • Proven background of successfully leading change and continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on metrics/KPIs
  • Successful experience in leveraging data to analyse performance, develop insights and effectively partner with resources to optimize operational excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to drive vision and purpose, including articulating a compelling, inspired and relatable vision, making the vision sharable by everyone, and instilling and sustaining organization-wide energy for what is possible
  • Strong strategic, innovative mindset and demonstrated agility to drive both strategic and tactical continuous improvement efforts
  • Demonstrated influence with executive leadership teams, including gaining the confidence and trust of others, sharing ideas in a compelling manner that gains commitment from others, and finding common ground and acceptable alternatives that satisfy the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Proven outstanding communication skills, including listening, presenting, speaking and writing, adjusting communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders
  • Strong ability to communicate and engage all levels of the Organization both strategically and tactically.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in a Scientific or Engineering field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Formal training in Operational Excellence methods, such as High Performance Organizations, Lean, TPM, 6 Sigma
  • Willingness to travel
