The Sr. Finance Manager, FP&A, for our Vitamins, Minerals, Herbs and Supplements franchise will partner with brand leaders and be responsible for the performance management, forecasting, and steering value creation for the business.  The scope of the role includes full P&L management from Gross Sales to EBITDA, as well as both strategic and operational leadership in the areas of trade, supply chain, advertising, and SG&A.  Through strong analytics and objectivity, the Sr. Finance Manager makes recommendations and influences decisions that maximize value for the business.

The Sr. Finance Manager will also be expected to lead efforts in the areas of process simplification and excellence, maximizing the use of our financial information systems, and ensuring strong business risk management and financial controls.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a strategic business partner, bringing an understanding of Finance, value creation and business drivers.  Provide an objective view on the business to ensure decisions are fact based, supported by strong analytics.
  • Provide financial analysis to steer business decisions including but not limited to formulation of pricing and trade promotion strategies, advertising investment decisions, business assessment of new product initiatives, economic evaluation of capital expenditures,
  • Bring an external focus to the business including analysis of the marketplace, competitor, and retailer impacts to our business
  • Bring a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on simplification of the way we work including business processes, use of systems, and organization. 
  • Analyze financial results and key trends, assess current and future business risks, and communicate results to leadership.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional business partners.
  • Provide financial leadership on special projects related to business development, strategic growth and ad hoc analysis.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of related financial planning and analysis experience with increasing responsibility and control
  • Prior work experience in FP&A supporting Brands, Supply Chain, Customer Development (Sales), or Financial Planning is preferred
  • Experience in business planning and forecasting required
  • Experience creating and implementing process improvement solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly communicate results and implications of analysis in both verbal and written forms
  • Experience communicating effectively with all levels leadership, and experience communicating with all levels of financial acumen
  • Strong developer of talent
  • Proven ability to partner with cross functional business teams to drive change 
  • Possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholders
