Job Description

The Senior HR Manager is responsible for overseeing HR team members across four manufacturing/packaging sites (NY, NJ, Texas, AZ), as well as providing HR Business Partner support for the Natural Products Group. This position is responsible for providing HR guidance and support to ensure that assigned sites and business units achieve key business objectives while meeting the needs of Nature’s Bounty associates.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Serve as a key strategic partner to leadership in assigned areas
  • Coach, lead and develop three HR Business Partners
  • Ensure staffing targets are met and that an active pipeline is in place for key positions 
  • Implement performance management and succession planning programs
  • Manage associate relations - navigate ambiguous/complex/sensitive issues and promote conflict resolution
  • Lead organizational changes and assist leaders in action plans and effective communications
  • Create programs that support and foster a high performance culture and engaged working environment
  • Partner with teams to promote a culture of inclusion
  • Facilitate and conduct training for both leaders and associates
  • Identify barriers and roadblocks to operations and partner with leaders to identify effective solutions
  • Assist leaders and HR team members in understanding applicable federal and state labor laws
  • Drive compliance and understanding of company policies and procedures
  • Travel-- up to 35% to multiple US locations


  • Minimum of 10 years work experience in a human resources role
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters in Industrial Relations or Human Resources preferred
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred
  • Maintain a high level of trust and confidentiality
  • Business acumen: development and contribution to the growth of the business
  • Decision making: makes sound decisions based on relevant data
