  • Begins the first week of June and runs for 10 weeks.
  • Work schedule is standard business hours of 9am-5pm.
  • Most of our positions are located in Long Island, NY. Additional positions are located throughout the country.
  • For NY-based Interns, temporary off-campus housing is available.
Job Description

Nature’s Bounty is an innovative and empowering global Health and Wellness company looking for an exceptional summer supply chain intern to join our dedicated team of supply chain professionals.  We value our people and strive to build strong collaborative teams, processes and system tools to efficiently deliver superior customer service and market success across our powerful brands. 

We are searching for candidates who are hard-working, smart, and goal-oriented with a passion to learn about supply chain career opportunities. Supply chain processes are critical to business planning and timely delivery of our products to our valued customers. The intern hired for this position should expect to learn all facets of our supply chain and will leave this position with invaluable skills and knowledge with the potential for future supply chain roles in the organization. The project and responsibilities are outlined below:

  • Gain learning on all NBCo. supply planning roles and processes across the organization including our corporate, manufacturing and distribution network.
  • Complete the process mapping and documentation of the end to end supply chain processes including order management, demand and supply planning, capacity planning, inventory management, material planning, and product replenishment. 
  • Align with the above, all roles, scope and dependencies across the various processes.
  • Include in your work the daily cadence of information flow, meetings and report generation used by the various planning teams in their processes. 
  • Where possible, include electronic samples of reports used.
  • Summarize candid insights with process optimization recommendations to drive process improvement and efficiency in the processes.
  • Organize content in SharePoint for future use by management.
  • Collaborate with the planners to understand key gaps in the systems tools and processes and provide recommendations to address these challenges. 
  • Present your findings to the Supply Chain Leadership team. 
  • Work with the master data and supply chain planning team on key priorities with master data maintenance

  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
  • Major within one of the following fields:
    Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics
