Job Description  

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Mechanics on an assigned shift. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

2nd Shift M-F 3pm to 11:30pm

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates all equipment, maintenance and set up activities
  • Purchases equipment, parts and supplies for department operations
  • Responsible for GMP and SOP compliance
  • Implements procedural/policy changes to enhance department performance
  • Recommends equipment upgrades
  • Facilitates new equipment installations
  • Supports new product introductions
  • Enforces safety policies and work habits
  • Promotes a teamwork environment
  • Special projects as required

  • 5 or more years experience in a maintenance supervisory position with 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment 
  • 2 year technical degree with equivalent work related experience preferred
  • Must have good communication skill (verbal and written)
  • Must be able to use spreadsheet and word processing applications
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented
