Job Description  

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities of the shipping, receiving and inventory control functions to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment and shipment of customer orders.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with management to improve work flow, identify issues effecting efficiencies and assist in developing solutions
  • Replenishment of a large number of finished goods picking locations
  • Reduce waste in time, effort and materials
  • Maintain and enhance productivity reporting and key performance indicators
  • Ensure the receipt of finished goods, components, etc. are entered and checked in the system correctly
  • Supervise and verify all outgoing shipments as being correct by maintaining the complete adherence to required shipping schedules
  • Maintain the working order of the motorized equipment in the warehouse to include approval of repairs for said equipment
  • Train, evaluate and certify all associates on all motorized material handling equipment. Also, required to operate a forklift to assist in loading, unloading or moving materials and products, if needed
  • Monitor productivity and motivate associates in maintaining quality and efficiency throughout the department
  • Train and ensure that all associates adhere to the safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect for the department
Please note:  This a a 3rd Shift Opportunity. 3rd Shift positions are Sunday - Thursday overnights.
Qualifications  
  • Minimum 5 years warehousing and supervisory experience preferred
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Military experience a plus
  • Intermediate PC skills
  • Must be available to assist with second shift operations
  • Must have experience in operation of various material handling equipment including high reach and Very Narrow Aisle wire guided equipment
  • High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in RF driven Warehouse Management Systems
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
  • Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a warehouse/distribution environment
